Too often patients fear chiropractic care because they’ve heard about “rack and crack” chiropractors or they’ve watched videos of cringe-worthy adjustments.
Triage Wellness Institute offers fear-free state-of-the-art chiropractic treatments with Sigma Technology and very specific manual adjustments.
The Sigma Adjuster method of chiropractic adjustment is FDA-cleared and used in more than 32 countries. The treatment time takes less than 10 minutes using a computerized medical device that eliminates the guesswork of traditional chiropractic care for precise, effective therapy.
Our non-surgical, non-invasive spinal decompression therapy involves a motorized traction system that gently decompresses the spine. This therapeutic manipulation takes pressure off of nerves and other spinal structures, creating a vacuum phenomenon to bring the disc back into the joint.
Spinal manipulation and muscle rehabilitation involve some of the more traditional forms of chiropractic care. Our gentle, hands-on approach helps relieve pressure in joints, improve nerve function, and reduce inflammation.
Every Triage Wellness Institute treatment starts with a personal consultation. We’ll discuss all of your concerns, your goals for treatment, and your medical history. Your provider will also examine the treatment area(s). If together we determine that chiropractic adjustments will deliver pain relief and improved physical function, we’ll create a treatment plan and schedule your sessions.
At your session, we’ll take a variety of assessments to determine your baseline. This could include motion tests, strength tests, pain assessments, and/or other assessments. Your specialist will have you sit or lie down depending on what method will provide the best results and deliver specific adjustments and/or manipulations to your spine, joints, etc.
Your chiropractic adjustment can provide pain relief and release toxins trapped in your musculoskeletal system. It’s important to stay hydrated as your body adjusts and flushes the toxins away. Though you may experience immediate relief, your body will return to its previous learned state and will require muscle memory training and repetition to heal long term. Most patients need a series of adjustments along with a home exercise/stretching regimen to achieve long-term results.

The Sigma System device provides non-surgical, non-invasive, and “non-cracked” relief for patients suffering from neuroskeletal/musculoskeletal problems. Utilizing the Sigma Adjuster hand-held device, your Triage Wellness Institute provider will place it against each of your vertebrae.
The device sends vibrations through the skin, which echo off the bone. Data obtained from this is recorded by the Sigma System, and the advanced software translates it into analytic graphs and bar charts. We’ll read this information, precisely target the misaligned vertebrae, and use the therapeutic device to deliver a stronger vibrating pulse to realign the target vertebrae. There’s no body manipulation or “cracking” necessary.
The Sigma Adjuster can help treat:
Many people go to a chiropractor that a friend has told them about. Word of mouth backed by reviews and reputation work well together to find a chiropractor for your concern.
For chiropractic adjustments in Elko New Market you should pay close attention during your initial consultation. Are they asking the right questions? Do they truly understand your answers? Does the practitioner offer different treatment options to achieve your goals, or do they have a “one-size-fits-all” approach to chiropractic care?
And—in the end—is the chiropractor willing to step back from treatment if they’re not the best choice for the patient? At Triage Wellness Institute, your health is our first concern, period. If we don’t think our services will deliver the best results for your situation, we will tell you up front. Our job isn’t to sell services. Our calling is to help people achieve their best health and wellness, and if that means referring you elsewhere, so be it. You matter most at Triage.
With many of our manipulations, including the Sigma Adjuster, we may hear an audible crack/pop sound. It’s similar to when you “pop” your knuckles. When a joint is manipulated, it can change the amount of pressure within the joint. This pressure change can create a tiny gas bubble/bubbles in the joint, which the adjustment then quickly releases. It’s this sudden release that makes the popping/cracking sound. Don’t worry—nothing is broken, and it’s not bones hitting each other. Your body quickly absorbs the bubble, and you should feel an ease in muscle/joint tension and pain.
